What are the formalities for diving in the Red Sea?

Are you looking for an exceptional trip and some interesting activities? If so, diving in the Red Sea might be just the thing. However, to do so, you will need to follow certain formalities in order to travel to one of the countries that border it. One of these countries is Egypt. To access the Red Sea via Egypt, you need to provide a number of documents in order to obtain your e-Visa.

Searching for suitable sites

In order to apply for an e-visa for Egypt, it is essential to visit the websites that will allow you to do so. Of course, there are a multitude of sites that will give you the opportunity to do so. However, it would be better to turn to a site that is appropriate.

You can go to the government authorities' website or undertake the procedure on a private website. Whatever the platform, the procedure is often carried out just as quickly.

Applying for an Egyptian e-Visa

You must apply for an Egyptian e-Visa at least a few days before your trip. If you want your application to be accepted, you will need to provide a dossier. For nationals of certain countries, all they need is their identity card, valid for at least 6 months after entering Egypt. Other nationals will necessarily need to provide their passport before entering the country.

And don't forget to give as many details as possible about your stay. As a general rule, the duration of your stay in Egypt should not exceed 30 days. You will also need to give details of the hotel and the activities you wish to carry out.

In fact, once you have your e-Visa, you will only be authorised to carry out tourist activities. What's more, if you are accompanied by minors, they will also have to provide the same documents as you. The Egyptian government makes no distinction between minors and adults.
